Rock Academy Masters September/October opens for registrations soon.
After an awesome show on June 1st at The Tote, we’ll be again for the second instalment of the Masters in 2025.
Rock Academy Masters is a band rehearsal and live performance opportunity for the more mature player.
This is for the selfless folk who always had a passion for music and may have played in bands in a previous life yet work, kids and responsibilities meant forgoing your love of music for the time-being. It’s time to give back to you.. you know you deserve it. Unleash the rock god/goddess within!
Over a 5 week period, you’ll meet new players, form bands, write original music, learn and rehearsal some of your favourite songs. You’ll prepare for a live show under the guidance and mentorship of the irrepressible Phil Ceberano and local guitar bully and counter-culture connoisseur Olympia.
The Live show will be captured live by pro photographers, audio engineers and filmmakers.
Tune up, plug in, let’s rock.

The lowdown
We’re back, Rock Academy Masters (formerly known as The Sessions), a band jam and performance opportunity for the more mature player.
Over a 5 week period, you’ll meet new players, form bands, write original music, learn some covers and prepare for a video and audio recording session and then play a live show, all under the guidance and mentoring of the irrepressible Phil Ceberano and some of the country’s leading players. It’s going to be wild!

- Monday, October 6, 6.30-11pm – Band rehearsals and mentoring at The Wick Studios, Brunswick
- Monday, October 13, 6.30-11pm – Band rehearsals and mentoring at The Wick Studios, Brunswick
- Monday, October 20, 6.30-11pm – Band rehearsals and mentoring at The Wick Studios, Brunswick
- Monday, October 27, 6.30-11pm – Band rehearsals and mentoring at The Wick Studios, Brunswick
- Sunday, November 2, 5.30pm – The Live Show – venue, tba
Pricing: $795.00 (incl. GST), fees can be paid in two instalments – deposit and balance.
