Nominated for ‘Live Guitarist of the Year’ in 2020 by the National Live Music Awards, Bec Goring has an unique sound and captivating performance style. Bec has collaborated with artists such as Gordi, Mia Wray, Alexander Biggs and Merpire, and supported some of Melbourne’s iconic artists Alex Lahey (‘Best of Luck’ tour), Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, Liz Stringer and Bec Sandridge.
Her debut studio album ‘Beware’ (2020 release) produced by Jono Steer (Angie McMahon & Ainslie Wills) reveals the voice of an honest, and comforting songwriter. Bec has performed locally and internationally at major festivals including Porretta Soul Music Festival (IT), Jazz a Vienne (FRA), Summerfest Milwaukee (USA) and Queenscliff Music Festival.
Bec Goring graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts (Contemporary Music) at the Victorian College of Arts (VCA) under the guidance of renowned guitarists Peter Petrucci and James Sherlock.
