What a tough few years we’ve had slowly creeping our of an historic pandemic, and it seems we’re not all clear. For many in our community times are good and times are tough and getting tougher and so considering we’re all part of a musical tribe we want to be able to facilitate support and directly help support each other in the community.
Over the years we have had Young Lions attend as our guests when circumstances get difficult for the families and thanks to the generosity of many families we continue to offer discounts or places at no charge (depending on individual circumstance) for Rock Academy.
If you have a Young Lion that would like to join us at the next Rock Academy, click on the link below (apply) and send us some details. The conversation is totally private and no-one (except Alan & Phil) will receive the message and will follow up directly with you. As per previously, no Young Lion will be aware of who attends as our guest or at a discounted rate.
For other members of our Tribe, if you have the capacity to support others in our community and would like to make a contribution to the fees of an in-need Young Lions click below (support) to do so.
We all want as many Young Lions to participate as possible, you never know what valuable long-term connections will be made that are important to the musical future and wellbeing of all our Young Lions.
We acknowledge that our events are staged on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri, Boonwurrung, Wadawurrung, Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung Peoples of the Kulin Nation.
We pay our respects to their land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and emerging.
