Brett will be delivering a Guitar ‘tone’ workshop with the Sydney/Melbourne tribe on Thursday, January 16.
Brett Kingman is a professional guitarist and video producer currently working with James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite, Ross Wilson and many other ‘heritage’ Australian rock acts.
Brett is a child of the 70’s and grew up listening to the latest releases from the likes of Led Zeppelin, Yes, T-Rex, Slade, David Bowie and other well known acts of that period.
In 1987 Brett was enlisted as a touring guitarist for the Uncanny X-Men when their original guitarist, Ron Thiessen, couldn’t be there. Later on that year James Reyne hired Brett for his new post-Aussie-Crawl solo band.
Brett has continued to work with James ever since. In the early 2000’s Brett worked and consulted for major Melbourne musical instrument distributor, CMI. Brett was a regular at the Los Angeles, Frankfurt and Shanghai Musikmesse/NAMM shows which he still attends.
In 2008 Brett began a Youtube channel demonstrating guitar effects just for fun. Two years later he was enlisted as a staff member for the US based Pro Guitar Shop channel.
In 2017 Brett continues to work both as a touring guitarist and as an indemand ‘YouTuber’. Brett uses and endorses Ernie Ball Music Man guitars, Fractal Audio Systems Axe-FX gear and literally dozens of other brands.
Currently, Brett is on the ‘All Crawl’ tour with James Reyne around Australia.
