Saskia Robin

Born and raised in Melbourne’s inner North, Saskia Robin is a singer, guitarist and songwriter who takes most of her inspiration from her dad’s 90s CD collection.

 

Her sound, reminiscent of Liz Phair, Hole and Sharon Van Etton, is uniquely her own: a captivating blend of guitar, gliding vocals, and lyrics hitting a little too close to home.

 

Having played multiple gigs around Melbourne over the last year, Saskia plans to release her first single mid 2024.

Rock Academy Australia

Rock Academy is a school holiday music initiative for teenagers established in 2015. Currently staged in Melbourne and on the Mornington Peninsula, Rock Academy features established artists mentoring teenage musicians as they rehearse a cover song and write an original song to perform on a real rock stage.
