Tim Henwood

Tim Henwood comfortably fills the role of musical journeyman in the classic sense. In recent times he has been part of the multi Platinum, Aria award winning juggernaught ROGUE TRADERS and is also the front man for the hugely successful platinum, Aria award winning, global phenomenon the ANDROIDS with their world wide smash DO IT WITH MADONNA. Prior to the hugely successful 2000’s Henwood was part of the Uber cool multi platinum, Aria award winning rock act the SUPERJESUS in the late 90’s as guitar player/songwriter, which established him as a creative force to be reckoned with.

Whilst best known for his contribution as a member of these highly successful bands, being a true journeyman he gravitates towards musicians who inspire him and has contributed to a diverse range of great Australian artists and recordings over his career including JAMES REYNE, MARK SEYMOUR, ROSS WILSON, RENEE GEYER, THE VERONICAS, DELTA GOODRUM, PLASTICINE, TAXIRIDE, ELECTRIC MARY, MISSING HOURS, JON STEVENS, JOE CAMILLERI, LUGER BOA, KATIE NOONAN, BORNE, KASEY CHAMBERS, CHOCOLATE STARFISH and many more.

Having spent many years either in the studio or on the road touring the world as support act for PINK, JOHN FOGERTY, KELLY CLARKSON, KISS, ALICE COOPER, THE DARKNESS and many more, or being part of the first COUNT DOWN Australian national tour, or playing to tens of thousands of people doing shows with his various bands, Henwood added Musical Theatre to his career in 2011 performing in the Broadway hit musical ROCK OF AGES. Since then Henwood has worked on various shows including the Cat Stephen’s musical Moonshadow, Grease, Dirty Dancing, Kinky Boots, Beautiful The Carol King Musical, Mamma Mia, School of Rock and more.

Currently Henwood remains active and in demand as a song writer/producer/engineer/guitarist working on various recording projects for Chocolate Starfish, Angry Anderson and more as well as playing live with Suzi Quatro in her touring band.

All of this on top of fronting his hugely successful retro rock band PALACE OF THE KING all around the planet.
